Studio 101 - Putting Together a Personal Studio (Overview)

Hi everyone, welcome to 2025! This year’s Studio 101 column will focus on putting together a personal studio from scratch. We will explore the hardware (choosing mics, processors and accessories) and the software (choosing the computer and selecting the best DAW and software plugins), as well as discuss monitoring options and optimize the room (or rooms) for recording and mixing.
