In parts 1 and 2 of this series (March & May 2019), I introduced you to the small room that I’ll be using for audio work for the next few years, and my steps for optimizing the space.

Part 1 pointed out sonic problems that are common in tiny rooms. I went over the setup of the room, including the custom sit/stand workstation I built, for both my audio work and the design work I do.

Part 2 detailed speaker and subwoofer placement strategies, as well as DSP tweaks we can employ to help match the speaker system to the room. All along, I’ve promised that acoustic treatments make the most significant difference in the final sound quality, and here we are!
