Home Studio vs. Pro Studio

In addition to working in professional studios over the years, I have also had a variety of recording setups at home. Moving between those two worlds for much of my career has helped me understand not only their differences but also how to work effectively in both environments.

One thing was clear from the start: a studio designed to be run by one person is often quite different from a studio designed to be run by a team. What follows is a collection of things I learned along the way, and how I applied them when designing my current creative space.
