Longtime readers of my column know of my fascination with and admiration for all things Airstream. Airstream is a 95-year-old American company founded by Wally Byam. Wally was an inventor, an innovator and, in my opinion, one of the original Mad Men.

To me, an Airstream is a canvas for opportunity. If you look closely enough, they really do show up everywhere: bars, salons, golf pro shops, green rooms, Airbnbs—you name it. My youngest stepdaughter, Paige, even has a 1965 Airstream Globetrotter that has been converted into a mobile coffee shop. I cannot imagine where she got the idea to use an Airstream.
