Readers of my column need no introduction to Carl Verheyen. Carl and I have been doing sessions and making records together for many years. We’ve co-produced his last four albums together, and we’re currently working on his upcoming release, Promised Future.

Over the course of his career, Carl has worked all over the world in an extraordinary range of musical settings as a studio musician, a sideman, a member of Supertramp and a world-class guitarist in his own right. Along the way, he’s developed a deep understanding of studio workflow and a remarkable ability to collaborate with a wide variety of artists, producers and composers.
