Glamorous Modern Metamorphoses — The Creative Ethos of Charlotte Kemp Muhl and UNI and The Urchins SIMULATOR.

Charlotte Kemp Muhl is a multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, engineer, producer, writer, model, film director and label owner living in New York City. Throughout the past two decades, she has been part of multiple musical projects, most notably The GOASTT (Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger) with Sean Lennon (her significant other of 16 years), and her latest project UNI and The Urchins.

The band’s first full-length release, SIMULATOR, is a mesmerizing confection of classic early 70s glam rock seamlessly combined with tantalizing twinges of 80s and 90s pop production and vintage psychedelic effects, all blended together with a thoroughly modern edge.

In addition to being the band’s bassist and second vocalist, Charlotte tracked, edited and mixed the project herself on the family farm.
