Studio 101 - Part 6: Instruments – Let's Get Recording!

To this point, we’ve been spending a lot of time talking about recording technology, and have covered some of the tools needed to capture sound into our digital audio workstation (DAW). Now, it’s time to take on the DAW itself. We are going to start by looking at creating a DAW project and recording audio into it. We’ll also talk further about the audio interface, look at DAW setup, and walk through the process of getting audio into a track. Let’s get started!
