Studio 101 - Part 11: All About EQ

Now that we’ve thoroughly discussed the process of recording and mixing, it’s time to take a closer look at the processors that we use. We will start with EQ (equalization),  a tool that we use to manipulate audio’s tonal characteristic. When we talk about “adding sizzle,” “taming the bass,” or “tweaking the mids,” we are reaching for an EQ to accomplish the task.
