Studio 101 - Intro to Interfaces

For many small/home studio operators who work primarily in the virtual environment of the DAW, the first system upgrade or studio component will be the audio interface. 

For DAW users who’ve never had to set up a hardware-based audio system, this may be the first time they’ll confront technical considerations like interface features, computer peripheral connection options, audio input types, level settings and impedance, and the different types of audio cables needed for recording various signal sources.
