Three Approaches to Dolby Atmos Recording

In addition to our immersive mixing, over the past few years, my partner, Matt Wallace, and I have had the opportunity to record sessions specifically for Dolby Atmos. We’ve learned something new each time, and that has led us to experiment with different methods on subsequent sessions. Let’s take a look at three of these approaches—what worked, what didn’t and what we learned along the way.
