Inside the Studio: Mark talks with Vince Gill

Vince Gill needs no introduction. He is an accomplished singer, songwriter and guitar legend who has recorded over 20 studio albums, sold over 26 million records and earned 22 Grammy awards. I have had the opportunity to work with Vince on several projects over the years, and I even helped him set up his ATC studio monitors at his home studio in Nashville. Vince’s studio is a Pro Tools-based room with an API 1608 console and enough guitars to start his own museum. Most of the time, guitar players of his caliber get asked about all the geeky stuff: pedals, guitars, cables, microphones, etc. For this interview, I wanted to talk with Vince about his creative process and where he chooses to focus his energy.
