Inside the Studio – Abbey Road Continued: Bringing It All Together

Last month, Paul Vnuk Jr. recounted his journey to Abbey Road Studios to sit in on an orchestral session in the infamous Studio 2, produced by yours truly. The tracks were two 90s-era country songs arranged for vocal(s) and orchestra. The parts recorded in London consisted of strings, low brass and percussion. Since then, I’ve been hard at work adding guitars, keys, some miscellaneous production and the final vocals. Below is how I mixed the song “Go Rest High” for stereo and Atmos (coming soon to a theatre near you.)
