Inside the Box: Working in Multiple DAWs

Everyone has their favorite DAW, but these days, many projects span multiple platforms. Remote collaboration is now common, and of course this means different studios and different DAWs. Sometimes we may even bounce between DAWs to utilize specific features exclusive to each platform; we might prefer one program for tracking, composing, and editing, while choosing a different DAW for the final mixing and rendering.
